Stacey Allen Fitts of Pittsfield is serving his first term in the Maine House of Representatives.  He has been appointed to the Legislature’s Joint Standing Committee on Utilities and Energy.  He represents District 29 - Clinton, Detroit and Pittsfield.

Representative Fitts attended Maine Maritime Academy receiving his bachelors of science in mechanical engineering in 1984.  Rep. Fitts is a self employed consultant.  He enjoys skiing, hunting, and woodlot management. 

Representative Fitts is active in the community and belongs to the Meridian Lodge and the Anah Temple Shrine.  He is a former chair of the Pittsfield Planning Board and is a member of the First Congregational Church.  He and his wife, Tina, have two children.
